# Create custom profile fields

[Organization managers](https://guides.whaller.com/welcometothesphere_organizationmanager_guide.pdf) have the possibility to create organization-specific profile fields* for their members.

To do so, go to your organization's administration pages. Select the " **Roles & profiles** " tab, then " **Personalized profile fields** ".

**Step 1**

Add and personalize new fields, select the type (_text, non-editable text, free list, free list with suggestions, predefined list with only one possible choice, predefined list with several possible choices, file),_ define values and related roles.

**Step 2**

Once you have edited your new fields, you will be able to select a field to highlight on your members’ profiles.

**Step 3**

Members can fill in these custom profile fields in the " **Profiles** " section of their account settings.
