# Invitations: How to invite someone into your sphere(s)

On Whaller, there are several ways to invite someone to join a sphere.

Normally, you must be a sphere administrator in order to invite someone, however, certain organization settings authorize all members to send invitations.

**From your sphere (of which you are the administrator)**

In the top right of the header bar, click on the “Invite someone” icon.

In the column to the right of your feed, in the “Members” section, click on the “Invite members” button.

In both cases, a popup will appear allowing you to invite your contacts: 

1.  Enter the email address (if they are not yet registered on Whaller) or the username of each person you wish to invite. 
    
2.  Customize the email or message your contacts will receive.

**From the “root” page (homepage that displays all of your networks, organizations and spheres)** 

In the top right of the header bar, click on the “Invite someone” button:

A popup will appear allowing you to invite your contacts. 

1.  Enter the email address (if they are not yet registered on Whaller) or the username of each person you wish to invite. 
    
2.  Choose which sphere you would like to invite them to.
    
3.  Customize the email or message your contacts will receive.
