Within a sphere, you can create different groups of people.

By mentioning a group in a message, information can be quickly sent to all the group members at once.

In order to create a group, you must be a sphere administrator.
In the right hand column, under the Members section, click on "Groups".

The first group, by default, is the Administrators group. You can add another person to this group by clicking "Add a person". The person must be a member of the sphere.

To create a new group, click on the "Create a group" button. Enter the name of the new group. If you make a mistake, you can always modify it. Please note that you cannot include spaces in group names.

Once the group is created, you can add members. Group members must already be members of the sphere.

To address a group in the "Write a new message" box, click on the "@" icon to choose from the list of groups, or enter "@@" followed by the name of the group. Enter your text, then choose the visibility (In private or With members), then post the message.

If you have selected "In private", only the members of the group will see it in the sphere. The conversation will be restricted to group members only.
